On Thursday 4th September the Lord Mayor of Canterbury will unveil eight blue plaques, including tributes to Saint Augustine and Saint Hadrian on the outer wall at St Augustine’s Abbey in Canterbury (see picture attached). The location is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the unveilings will tell the 1400 YEAR history of the abbey.
